Preview: Chivas vs. Tigres

This Sunday, Chivas will host a Liga MX game against Tigres. Chivas are coming in from a loss against Toluca 1-0. Tigres come in after a victory against Veracruz. The last time these two teams faced each other, Chivas and Tigres would tie 3-3. Will Tigres get their 2nd victory of the season, or will Chivas keep their momentum up? The hunt for a Liguilla position continues!

Copa MX: Chivas fell short

This past Thursday, Chivas would fail to defeat Dorados at home in a Copa MX game. The game ended in a victory for Dorados in Estadio Omnilife with a score of 2-1. Dorados would open the scoreboard with a goal from A. Guido in minute 17 to take the lead in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, Dorados would give Chivas a penalty, which would be scored by A. Coronado in minute 49 to tie the game 1-1. However, just before the game would end, E. Cerda from Dorados would score the game winning goal in minute 85 to give Dorados the victory. This Wednesday, Chivas will play their last 2 games in Copa MX against Dorados. Today, they will play in Estadio Omnilife in Zapopan, Jalisco. Chivas need to win these next two games in order to advance to the next round. The last time these two teams played, Chivas would win at home 2-1. On Sunday, there was a clash between Toluca whose in 2nd place and Chivas whose in 4th place. In the end, Toluca would win at home with a late goal by Brizuela in minute 89 to win the game 1-0. Chivas took every chance they had and gave it their all, but know it is time to move on and fight for a spot in the Liguilla.
